Le Prieuré

Step through this gate and enter the world of a twelfth-century priory located in the charming village of Biron and only a short stroll to the grand Château de Biron.
 

This amazing photo shows the priory in the foreground with the massive Château de Biron in the background.  The château is open for visitors to take self-guided tours, and a visit there is well worth your time.  The village of Biron is small and allows for pleasant strolls to explore its nooks and crannies.

Guests of Le Prieuré will enjoy the lovely back terrace for quiet moments in a tranquil setting. During the day they can take advantage of the cool shade and in the evenings perhaps have dinner by the light of the moon and candles!
 

The views over the rolling green countryside are like few others you will ever see from your bedroom window!  Despite being located in the village of Biron itself, the back of the priory faces away from the village and one would think they were far from any semblance of civilization.  This is a very special and peaceful location for spending your vacation, while being very near so many attractions and towns in the Périgord.
