Chambre Louise-Elisabeth
is one of the smallest of the Château's four spacious guest rooms.
All the rooms are named for famous historic figures and all have elegant
en suite bathrooms. Louise-Elisabeth is on the first floor at the
front of the château overlooking the park, and it has high ceilings,
a fireplace with the original mantelpiece, classic furniture and velvet
draperies. Named for Marie Louise Elisabeth de Bourbon, the eldest
daughter of King Louis XV, she was also the twin of Henriëtte-Anne.
She was married to Philip de Bourbon, son of Spain's King Philip V, at
the age of 12. Learn more about her when you visit the château.

Each guest room has
its own luxurious private bathroom; two have tubs and showers and two have
showers only. This bathroom is the en suite for the Chambre Napoleon
III, a lovely family guest room on the second floor of the château.
With a southern exposure, the Chambre Napoleon III is sunny and bright.
Adjoining it is a children's room. These rooms are the only
guest accommodations on the second floor, so they offer complete privacy. |
