Château du
Bois Noir is a magnificent Renaissance-style building with pleasant proportions
and exquisite details. Built in the late nineteenth century on the
hill, Le Bois Noir, this beautiful structure has a long history
of loving care, changing hands several times since its construction.
The van Amptings became its proud owners in 2006, and, along with some
remaining outbuildings, they now have more than three hectares of lush
parkland and gardens. They have transformed it into a very warm and
welcoming chambres d'hôtes.
Fine detailing and
thoughtful design make Château du Bois Noir an exceptional building.
This spacious, sun-drenched terrace is a wonderful spot for relaxation
or to take breakfast or dinner. Guests can sit here and enjoy the
fine views over the Corrèze countryside ~ a tranquil and restful
region ~ and take note of the fine gardens and century-old specimen trees
on the estate. |
