The Carriage House
was thoughtfully renovated in 2004 to provide self-catering accommodations
for guests. Beautiful new hardwood floors replaced the 11th century
stone floors in the salon, which has a fireplace and comfortable furniture,
is decorated in warm hues, and looks out upon the lime tree allée
in the park. Garden furniture completes the picture,
and weekly guests have the use of the swimming pool and other amenities
in the park.

 There
is also a completely equipped kitchen, dining room and powder room on the
ground floor and two bedrooms on the first floor, each with an en suite
bathroom that includes walk-in showers. Most interesting, perhaps,
are the lovely tuffeau stone walls so indicative of the Loire Valley. |

The Stone Manor House
is nestled between the château and the Carriage House surrounded
by beautiful rose gardens. The veranda is a lovely place to gather
for a meal or just to relax and take in the garden views. The ground
floor offers a bedroom and bathroom, and there is a second bedroom and
bathroom on the first floor, accessible by an exterior stairway ~ conceived
in order to avoid constructing a stairway inside that might jeopardize
the integrity of the structure. The first floor bedroom offers guests
the feeling of living in a treehouse! |

A spacious French
country kitchen is the focal point of the Manor, and there is a comfortable
and cozy salon for relaxation, the highlight of which is the ancient beamed
ceiling. |
