As you walk through the gate you will see not only the front of Le Petit Manoir des Bruyères but also a beautiful garden of specimen trees, flowers and other plants spread before you. 
 
 
 
 

From Chambre La Vallière one has a view of the path leading into the gardens past the guest cottage and of the lovely woods beyond.  The back landscape is as large with vast lawns, a small duck pond and a lovely porch for sitting outside to enjoy the tranquility of this fine Burgundian location.
 

 

Strolls in the gardens will take you past striking flower beds and fine fruit trees ~ especially plums and pears which are plentiful in the autumn.  This photo was taken during September...the gardens are colorful almost year 'round.
