Flowers in abundance add bursts of color to the magnificent fourteen acres of gardens at Manoir La Chaussée.  The rosary  is the jewel of the garden, as it was planted in 1994 with the assistance of  David Austin in a French parterre design from the 17th century  ~ boasting some 360 English roses arranged to maximize their beauty and offer visitors both color and fragrance from May 'till November.

Incredible care is taken to maintain the elegance of Le Jardin Anglais.  Boxwood hedges line walkways, fine specimen plants and trees adorn the landscape, and the peace and tranquility are long remembered after one's visit.  Water plays a big part in the gardens at Le Manoir as well, with gentle streams and a lovely lake adding to the pleasures of this fine estate.

Stroll the grounds to take in all that the gardens have to offer.  From sweeping lawns to mounds of flowers, from straight pathways to sculpted hedges ~ it is apparent why Le Jardin Anglais is considered one of the finest gardens in all of France.
