Guests can participate in personally escorted, informal wine tours -- visit the link above to their Bordeaux Wine Experience web site --  or use the château as a base to explore the region on your own.  Monsieur and Madame Rens, both certified by the Dutch Wine Academy, have been the proud owners of Château Coulon Laurensac since 2002, and, in the Spring of 2004, they completed renovation to the 'chai à barriques', a lovely 200-year old building that once served as both the place to age wine in oak casks and as the cellar master's lodging  when Coulon was still a wine producing property.   Completely upgraded and freshly decorated, the chai  is home to the gîtes at the château. Each is self-catering and rented on a weekly basis.

From Paris,  by auto, take the A10 autoroute to Bordeaux.  At Bordeaux 'rocade' (ring road) take the Bordeaux south exit 22a direction Latresne.  Follow D113 south through 2 traffic circles (roundabouts) always proceeding straight ahead.  At third circle follow direction le Bord de l'Eau  - follow  this road until it ends in a 'T' and make a left,  direction Latresne. This is a narrow one-way road.
