Surrounded by an eleven-hectare idyllic park, the Château offers as much beauty outdoors as it does indoors.  The garden's vivid color palette and expanse of lawns and woods makes it the perfect destination for both privacy and beauty.  A hot tub steams away in this photo ~ not far from an outdoor dining area to take breakfast or lunch en plein air.
 

Château de la Coutancière's park also offers visitors the opportunity to play chess on a grand scale, or to simply enjoy nature at its best.  The park has deer, ducks, squirrels and a few families of geese.  The small river running through the property and a lovely little waterfall add to the charm and tranquility of this Loire Valley destination.
