The bedrooms
in the château are spacious with high ceilings, fireplaces with marble
mantles, plush carpeting, and views of the garden or courtyard.
Each is decorated with sophisticated good taste and designed for the ultimate
comfort of its occupants. On this page we are presenting seven of
the nine bedrooms in the château.

The Gothic guest
room has a canopied super king-size bed, a fireplace, deep
wall-to-wall carpeting ~ it is a tranquil retreat with countryside views
over the treetops. Steps up lead to the en suite bathroom with a tub and
shower over, separate WC and bidet. Chambre Valory overlooks the
front lawn, and it even has a fireplace in its bathroom!

Rooms are furnished
with comfortable beds, armoires or a dressing room, chest of drawers
and a seating area. There are suites, doubles and twin rooms among
the nine, so particular sleeping arrangements can easily be accommodated. |

Chambre Quilt and
Chambre Rabelais are both ideal retreats for quiet nights in the French
countryside. Chambre Quilt shares a bathroom with three other bedrooms
on the top floor. Chambre Rabelais, on the first floor, has an en suite
bathroom that is spacious and modern with all 21st century conveniences. |

The top floor of
the château is as beautiful as the rest. The Tower bedroom
(also known as the 'Honeymoon Suite') is one of four bedrooms on this floor,
and it is lavish and opulent with a splendid canopied bed, fine furnishings,
an en suite bathroom and a magnificent fireplace. The Grenier, pictured
here, is not a bedroom but is the 'attic' space that has become very popular
with children and teenagers who have stayed at Château de Détilly.
Sleeping accommodations can be made in the Grenier. [Mouse
