  Gardens and springfed ponds
  This incredible photo shows one of four spring fed 'bassins' at Le Pavillon de Galon, and illustrates the thought and artistry that went into creating these fabulous gardens.  Imagine yourself wandering among the native plants, past meticulously maintained box hedges, and into the fruit orchards beyond.   The bassin in the foreground is 'Le Bassin d'Amour'; a bit farther,  framed by the ancient box hedge, is 'Le Bassin de la Couronne'.  And, even farther (not shown) is 'Le Grand Bassin' with a little beach where one can swim!   The fourth is behind the photographer, and it is named 'Le Bassin de la Lavandière'.
