La Salle de Burgraves

La Salle de Burgraves is grand space with fine Gothic arches, columns with beautiful Corinthian capitals, and a stunning tile floor stretching from the dining area into a lounge where a truly grand fireplace and comfortable seating welcome you.  Flooded with natural light for daytime dining and lit by period chandeliers for evening gatherings, the dining room is one that will never be forgotten.  And the dining experience will long be remembered as well.  As the owners tell us, "Cooking is considered a major art form in France: innovations are celebrated and talked about as though they were phrases in the development of a style of painting or poetry. 'Exceptional' is probably one of the best words to describe this fireplace ~ adorned with an ancient frescoe, a family crest and large enough to stand in ~ it represents the best of the château's history.  The amazing Gothic window compliments it perfectly.
