Sit on this peaceful little terrace to enjoy some moments of meditation or to gaze at the rugged countryside bordering Lake Castillon just beyond the fence.  Château de Méouilles is certainly the ideal destination for a relaxing vacation.

The Lac de Castillon, part of the Verdon River,  is more than 13 kilometers long, and Château de Méouilles is on the right bank at the northern end of the lake.   This is the view of the lake from the château's terrace pictured above.  The famous Gorges du Verdon to the southwest is a major attraction in the region.
