  Logis de la Ferme, Gîte, Dovecôte & Function Room

 
 

Rich and beautiful stone forms the walls of this guest house/gîte, Le Logis de la  Ferme, part of the large former farm house.  Located at the foot of the castle, this charming maison d'hôtes rented by the week will accommodate seven to nine people year 'round.  With ample space to enjoy ones vacation in the company of family and friends, guests will appreciate the three spacious guest rooms, two modern bathrooms, fully-equipped kitchen and lovely surroundings.  As with all four gîtes offered at the château, there is ample on-site parking and WiFi in the area.  The photo above right shows the castle from la Ferme.

Guests will enjoy a large living/dining room with a contemporary fireplace, a fully equipped new kitchen, a laundry room, a bathroom with shower and WC, TV and telephone plugs and two convertible sofas.  On the first floor are two or three bedrooms (as needed) with two large beds and two smaller adult beds.  One guest room has direct access to the bathroom with has a tub and separate WC.  Kitchenware, sheets and towels are provided.

Le Gîte du Régisseur, with views over the countryside, is located in the same dependancy as Le Logis du Ferme.  With beautiful gardens at the rear, there is a lovely area with seating for relaxation in totally tranquility.   A barbecue can be provided as well.  It offers either one or two guest rooms by the night or by the week and a completely equipped kitchen.

Le Colombier (Dovecôte)  was renovated in 2009.  This is an outstanding, high-tech gîte for two people.  It has a fully-equipped self-catering kitchen, and a modern bathroom, and is in the very interesting octagonal tower at the end of the Maison de la Ferme.  Guests will appreciate the uniqueness and solitude of this charming new addition to the offerings at Château de la Motte d'Usseau.

The large Function Room, perfect not only for meetings but for wedding receptions and family reunions, has a south-facing aspect and countryside views.  Weddings are held frequently at the beautiful Château de la Motte d'Usseau, and the proprietors are adept at  providing all the assistance needed by the bride and groom to ensure that they have a lovely and memorable occasion.
