September 26 - October 3, 2005

An exceptional guided tour of prehistoric and medieval southwestern France
is scheduled for June and September 2005  ~
a tour that includes Les Eyzies de Tayac, Font de Gaume, Cap Blanc 
and the prehistoric settlement of La Madeleine.  But, that's not all!

This tour also takes in the walled fortress city of Carcassonne, marvelous
Bergerac and Sarlat with their lively markets and historic old quarters,
 bastide towns and villages such as Domme, La Roque Gageac, Monpazier 
and so much more!


The tour will lodge participants in an elegant and luxurious
 au Château member property,  and guests will be accompanied by
their knowledgeable and experienced bi-lingual hosts.

Participants will explore medieval villages and bastide towns,
visit many prehistoric sites,  enjoy open-air markets, 
and have time at mid-day to explore on their own 
~ all in the birthplace of modern man, Southwest France.

Evening meals will be taken at Le Prieuré,

offering guests apéritifs, elegant cuisine and regional specialties, 
accompanied by fine wines.  Guests enjoy a farewell dinner at Le Prieuré on 
the last evening to celebrate the success of the tour.
