Enter through the
ancient gateway pictured on the first page and at left of this photo, and
you will discover an incredibly beautiful 17th century château on
a fine family estate of seven hectares. Those who rent this
château will soon feel as though they are lords and ladies of the
manor and will enjoy its beautifully decorated rooms, comfort, and
modern conveniences ~ all the while appreciating its historic significance.
Château de Servigny has its beginnings in the 16th century, with
some of those oldest walls still standing, and was expanded up through
the 19th century. Despite many centuries of construction, the architectural
style is a fine blending of various historic periods and remains a French
classic.

Today, the château
grounds are beautifully maintained and offer fine gardens and vistas for
visitors and guests. Those who rent Château de Servigny for
a week or more will find this swimming pool irresistible. Day after
day during the summer months, guests will enjoy refreshing swims, playing
with their children in the pool, or relaxing poolside with a good book
or a cool drink in the tranquil Norman countryside. [It is imperative that
children be monitored at all times in or near the swimming pool as well
as at the large pond 30 meters from the château, which, although
enclosed by an electric fence, presents a danger to unsupervised children.] |
