Soft light comes in through the lovely, long windows to illuminate this tranquil salon ~ an inviting space where guests can gather to relax, to discuss their plans,  to quietly read,  or to write in their travel journals.  Decorated with traditional French wallpaper and furnished in the French style, yet comfortably, this salon is a pleasant room at any time of night or day.

Equally as tranquil and charming is the château dining room with wide plank floors and views over the gardens.  A meal here during daylight hours would be simply lovely, but at night it would become elegant and romantic.
