Château du Breuil is awesome from every angle, but this view on the court side presents a contrast between the fifteenth century tower at the right and the Renaissance style of the château built in the 18th and 19th centuries. The moat reminds one of times past.

Still standing after six hundred years, this medieval square tower clings to the side of the château. So much of the charm of French châteaux is the opportunity to discover their history and to come upon buildings that have experienced and survived that history.
