Fortunately, Château de Courcy survived World War II with no damage.  The castle dates from the 1600s and has been maintained and renovated with great care to this day. 

At the left is a view of the north side of the château  

To the right is the east side of the château framed by manicured gardens and lawns.






  ChiensCourcy Stables
  You will never be bored as there is so much to see and do at Château de Courcy.  Enjoying the park are two happy residents out for a stroll.

The building next to Château de Courcy is home to the stables and quarters for the staff .
Several local horse riding clubs offer horses to hire and riding lessons.
 


The Moat and Cottage

The two-story cottage has a sunny kitchen with dining area as well as two bedrooms, a bathroom and a spacious lounge. 


The cottage offers two additional guest rooms on the estate so the property can sleep a total of fourteen people.

Cottage rooms include the lounge, kitchen/dining, twin bedroom, full bathroom and double bedroom.
It is surrounded by lovely gardens and has a terrace in the back.

The moat  is a lovely feature on the estate, and as shown in the photo above right, it separates the château from the cottage.
The gardens are spectacular offering endless hours of enjoyment for those spending peaceful days here.
